“And Jesus took the children in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them." Mark 10:16
Dear School Leader,
I hope this email finds you well. Summer is a time to slow down and breathe, but also a time of preparation.

As the 2022-2023 school year quickly approaches, we excitedly anticipate the noise of students engaged in fun and learning! At the same time, we continue to adjust to COVID-19. Those of us at Lutheran Schools Association are praying for you as you prepare for this school year. We continue to serve you in many ways. Our Executive Director, Dr. Laura Labenberg, has been working hard to ensure you have the advocacy and support you need to thrive in this ever-changing environment.

We were blessed by the increase of LSA member schools this past year and hope you will continue to work with us as we provide for the children entrusted to us.

As you consider membership in LSA this school year, remember this:

Over this past year,
-
LSA has furthered our reach to our schools and directors through remote meetings
-
LSA has informed with clear and timely updates about COVID-19 restrictions.
-
LSA has helped to distribute needed Title and CARES Act monies and other tangible items for NYC schools such as computers and PPE needs.
-
LSA has provided professional workshops, programs and continuing education for all who would like to participate.
-
LSA has advocated for Lutheran schools at board meetings on city, state and national levels.
-
LSA has provided free access to a testing coordinator and human resources professional.
-
LSA has implemented the new Marohn Family Scholarship program.

All member schools will see more of the same in 2022-2023.

If you feel you have benefitted from the offerings from LSA in the past, and look forward to more of the same, now is the time to renew or establish your membership with LSA. Your membership payment will entitle you to receive LSA communications, including information about workshops, HR resources, etc. In order to remain on our membership list, membership fees are due by October 15th. If you would like to pay in two installments, you may send in 50% on October 15th and the remainder by January 15th. The registration information is included with this letter.
The LSA Board thanks you for your commitment to Lutheran education. We look forward to working with you this coming school year. May God bless all your efforts as you care for His children.
In His peace,
Rev. Anthony Giordano
LSA Board President
