Facilitator Bios - Elementary & Secondary Track
Ryan Albrecht, LMSW from Lutheran Counseling Center
Ryan Albrecht, LMSW is a graduate of Adelphi Universities masters program in Social Work and recently accepted a contracted position with Lutheran Counseling Center.
David Black is a displaced Chicago Cubs fan who has now taught in Lutheran schools in Colorado for over 18 of his 31 years as an educator. He currently serves at Lutheran High School in Parker, CO, where he is a teacher and the Director of Lights Academy, an innovative accelerated personalized learning program within the existing school. David also serves Lutheran schools at large through facilitating leadership and training sessions, teaching online for Concordia University Wisconsin, and saying “yes” to far too many things.
Beth is Cooke Institute’s K – 8 Consulting Program Supervisor and Lead Consultant, and also teaches at Brooklyn College. As a special education educator and literacy expert for over 30 years, Beth leads the charge in supporting teachers to develop and implement great literacy instruction that meets the needs of all students. In addition, she facilitates presentations on many reading and writing topics, differentiating instruction, and principal leadership of literacy programs. In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling near and far, and reading for pleasure and professional development.
Deborah Carter teaches in the School of Education at Concordia College New York. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Carter was a tenured elementary school teacher in Groton, Connecticut and has taught in higher education since 2001.
I have been teaching at LuHi for 20 years. I teach computer programming and business classes. I am continually learning and growing.
Carol Geddis is a NYS certified N-6 teacher, School District Administrator and School Business Administrator. Carol was a grade 5 teacher for 6 years at Christ the King School, Guilderland, New York before becoming the principal of St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls, New York. Upon joining the Catholic School Administrators Association in 2004, Carol has worked diligently to meet the needs of the Catholic school administrators from across New York State. Carol works closely with the schools in NYS and well as presenting at NCEA for the past 6 years, and numerous other state and national conferences.
Chelsea is a third year teacher at LuHi. She teaches business classes as well as Economics.

Catherine Fuselier Price
School Counselor at The Chapel School (K-8) since 2014. Masters degree in Educator Counseling from Western CT State University, BS from NYU in Marketing.
Denis is the author of Instant Relevance: Using Today's Experiences to Teach Tomorrow's Lessons and Hacking Mathematics: 10 Problems That Need Solving. He taught high school math for 13 years before becoming a district administrator in NJ. Denis is a highly requested speaker and professional development consultant nationwide.
